| Running machine: | Ensure the blades are sharp and tightly fitted. Adjust the knob until aligned within the desired cutting depth. The planer should always be kept flat and level and pushed away from the body. Remove all metal objects such as nails from the surface before use. Use a proper extension cord. |
| Do's and Donts: | Ensure the power source delivers between 220 to 230V. Ensure power cord extension/ machine do not get wet. Do not Apply excessive pressure. Allow 5 minutes for the machine to cool off every 15-20 minutes of use. Use both hands to maintain control of the machine |

a. Strip and clean out dust
b. Check/replace all bearings
c. Check and clean armature
d. Check and clean field coils
e. Check/sharpen/replace blades
f. See that adjustment screw is working
g. Check/replace belt
h. Check/replace extension cord and plug
i. Check/replace brushes
The equipment must be clean and must have a service tag attached to ensure that the workshop completed the standard service before returning the asset to the floor.
The equipment must be taken to the testing station applicable where you will test the machine in front of the customer whislt demonstrating the operation of the asset to the customer.
Ensure that the required safety attire is worn before beginning the equipment test and instruction to the customer and ensure that the customer is in a safe location.
Start the equipment as per the above instruction.
Demonstrate the operation of the equipment as per the operating instructions above.
Shut the equipment down.
The customer must sign that he has recieved training.
