| Running machine: | Always check the oil level of the machine. Check the blade cover and guide wheel are in place. Check the taps and hose to the blades regularly. Check V-belts are tensioned properly and in good condition. Never force the machine forward. Always use water when cutting. When starting up, make sure the blade is off the surface to be cut. Check the shaft bearings for wear(no play on shaft) |
| Do's and Donts: | Never operate the machine with the blade cover in the "up" position. Make sure the blade is fitted in the correct direction and fastened properly. Do not run the machine without the recoil starter cover. Do not change direction while cutting. |
| Shutting Down: | Turn On/Off switch off. Close fuel line. |

Set revs at 3000 rpm
The equipment must be clean and must have a service tag attached to ensure that the workshop completed the standard service before returning the asset to the floor.
The equipment must be taken to the testing station applicable where you will test the machine in front of the customer whislt demonstrating the operation of the asset to the customer.
Ensure that the required safety attire is worn before beginning the equipment test and instruction to the customer and ensure that the customer is in a safe location.
Start the equipment as per the above instruction.
Demonstrate the operation of the equipment as per the operating instructions above.
Shut the equipment down.
The customer must sign that he has recieved training.
