| Starting: | Press electric switch. |
| Running machine: | Just guide the machine when drilling or breaking, never lean on the machine. Start drilling at low speeds for more precise placement of the bit. When drilling big holes, always use a smaller bit first as a pilot hole. Grease the machine regularly. |
| Do's and Donts: | When drilling do not jam the drillbit in the hole. Ensure the power supplu cable is in good condition. When carrying out maintanance or during work breaks disconnect the power supply. Use special bits when drilling into reinforced concrete. Vener put water in the hole when drilling. Always ensure when drilling the selector switch is switched to "drill" and not "breaking". |

a. Strip and clean out dust
b. Check all bearings / replace
c. Check and clean armature
d. Check and clean switch
e. Check / replace field coil
f. Replace grease in gearbox
g. Check all o'rings on moving parts
h. Replace grease in all moving parts
i. Check / replace electric cord and plug
j. Check / replace brushes
k. Check brush holders
Testing Equipment Before Hire:
The equipment must be clean and must have a service tag attached to ensure that the workshop completed the standard service before returning the asset to the floor.
The equipment must be taken to the testing station applicable where you will test the machine in front of the customer whislt demonstrating the operation of the asset to the customer.
Ensure that the required safety attire is worn before beginning the equipment test and instruction to the customer and ensure that the customer is in a safe location.
Start the equipment as per the above instruction.
Demonstrate the operation of the equipment as per the operating instructions above.
Shut the equipment down.
The customer must sign that he has recieved training.
