|Do's and Donts:||Always hold the machine firmly with both hands. Apply moderate pressure. Work wit a sharp chisel. Always keep shaft clean and greased. Check brushes for wear. Wait for the maching to come to a complete halt before putting the machine down. Never use the machine with a damaged power cable. Wear hearing protection.|
a. Strip and clean out dust
b. Check / replace all bearings
c. Check / clean armature
d. Check / clean field coil
e. Check / clean switch
f. Replace grease in gearbox
g. Check all o'rings on moving parts
h. Replace grease in moving parts
i. Check / replace electric cord and plug
j. Check / replace brushes
k. Check brush holders
The equipment must be clean and must have a service tag attached to ensure that the workshop completed the standard service before returning the asset to the floor.
The equipment must be taken to the testing station applicable where you will test the machine in front of the customer whislt demonstrating the operation of the asset to the customer.
Ensure that the required safety attire is worn before beginning the equipment test and instruction to the customer and ensure that the customer is in a safe location.
Start the equipment as per the above instruction.
Demonstrate the operation of the equipment as per the operating instructions above.
Shut the equipment down.
The customer must sign that he has recieved training.
